Comments: Did you name your helicopter in Vietnam? I'm collecting Army helicopter names for VOL 2 of "U.S. Army Helicopter Names In Vietnam" to be published in 2015. Search your in-country photo/slide collections for personalized copter nose art & names. Search your memory & memoirs or query a buddy for his. Thank you gentlemen. John Brennan, former SP5, 114 AHC, 1970-71, Vinh Long AAF

Comments:I joined "A" troop, 1st of the 9th Cav. I was in the scouts and flew in a OH-13S Sioux. I used to carry an M-60 on my lap. I joined the unit in Aug. 1965 in Ft. Benning, GA to March of 1966 in Viet Nam. I went over with the unit on the U.S.S. Darby and landed in Sept. 1965. I'm just curious as to how many of us are left.

Comments:i just saw larry wright's obituary in bullwhip news and i am greatly saddened by his early death. my old friend walt titchenell introduced me to larry at the 1998 1-9th reunion and larry made a positive impression on me from the start.sometimes when i would talk with titch on the phone, he and larry would be sitting in the yard drinking coffee and i would say hello to larry, he was always happy to hear from me. larry was a true gentleman and a quiet hero. we will miss him very much.

Comments:Iwas very saddened to read of the passing of Larry Wright. We were in different Companies of 1/9 but he was easy to relate to and you couldn't help but like him. He was a tireless worker for the Bull Whip Society and will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
